The story behind the dream

Hi, I am Sarah the owner and founder of BRUNCH&CO. here’s a little background about my self. For 10 years I was a waitress in the Durham region, I truly always loved the restaurant industry and especially serving.  I started out as a catering company as well as a vendor at various markets and festivals. My favourite past time was always going out for brunch with my father Carlos. He was my biggest motivation and fan. He always encouraged and supported me to get my very own brunch spot where we would have a place to permanently brunch together. Unfortunately he never got to see our dream for me come true, he unexpectedly passed away in 2019. In 2021 I found the courage to move forward and continue BRUNCH&CO. in his name. That’s where the “Carlos special” was born on my menu and I dedicated a whole corner of the restaurant to him where I hang his photo and hat proudly. He may not be here physically but I know he’s always with me, just in a different way now. This was always my dream and I am so blessed to do what I love. Thank you for all of your support. My dream couldn’t be a reality without all of you.
